2022 Gordon-Emmet bonspiel: Feb 24-27, 2022
GNCC Men’s teams are invited to play in the third oldest sporting competition held in the United States. Four years after the end of the Civil War the first bonspiel was held for the coveted Gordon Medal, a silver medallion donated by Robert Gordon, a New York City businessman from Scotland. The competition has been held annually since 1869, with the exception of 4 years due to world wars and thaws (when rinks were all outdoors). The Gordon-Emmet has traditionally been considered the GNCC’s Men’s Championship. The R.S. Emmet medal goes to the winner of the 2nd event and has been a part of the Gordon competition since 1932.More details and registration...
